Providing In-Person and Virtual Therapy

Are you ready to let go of self-doubt, guilt, and fear and find meaning and balance in your life?

Welcome to Gruber Psychological Services, LLC

I understand starting on a path toward healing can be scary and difficult. Seeking help can be a powerful first step on a journey of meaningful growth and change.

Whether from childhood sexual abuse, debilitating chronic pain, or other life experiences, oftentimes we experience deep feelings of not being "enough" or not belonging that shows up in different ways such as depression, behavioral problems, relationship issues, anxiety, and more. Regardless of our identities, a lot of us are taught that vulnerability is a weakness and self-silencing “should be” prioritized. Avoidance of uncomfortable physical and emotional pain can then become very natural whether conscious or not. However, such avoidance can be costly to your physical and mental well-being.

Why work with me?

This might be your first time seeking counseling or another attempt to connect with a therapist that "gets you" or your teen. I work to establish a trusting and compassionate space connecting through humor, validation, and transparency. I’m a life-long learner and welcome feedback from clients to modify how I can better support them and possibly others.

I will collaborate with you and/or your teen on therapy goals, create meaning, and recognize your strengths. During the therapy process, I balance supporting and challenging you to relate differently to uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, and sensations so they no longer distract you from your potential.

My primary specialties are eating disorders, medical conditions, pain, and trauma. Please refer to the lists below and other areas of my website to learn about all of my specialties and researchCall today for a FREE 30-minute phone consultation.
